1. The scheduled work on the qualifications reform is coming to an end. As expected, last changes are to be made during the last week of January: warehouses will have the efficiency calculated according to the efficiency of the main office; the efficiency will influence the magnitude of costs of the warehouse. In addition, the office pages will show data on the aggregate advertising in dependent stores and the total area of dependent warehouses.
There is also expected a change in the algorithm of calculating the successfulness ranking associated with the numbers of the “experience” obtained by players in the new system of updates.
2. We’ll try to finish all the announced changes by the end of this week. Among other changes, the interface of the daily VIRTs drawing among game points buyers will finally be updated; the office interfaces will include links to the wikipedia article on Virtonomics. In addition, this week we are solving the old problem of slow game functioning when uploading the counters.
3. After long and heated debate we’ve decided to change the rules of participating in tenders. The changes are meant to provide a more massive participation of the players in the drawing of VIRTs.
Additions to the rules of registration and participation in tenders
1. Players who have less than 10 unspent VIRTs on the account are considered to be amateur league players and can only take part in tenders with the prize of no more than 3 VIRTs;
2. Players who have from 10 to 60 unspent VIRTs are considered to be professional league players and can participate in tenders with the prize of 3 to 5 awarded VIRTs;
3. Players who have more than 60 unspent VIRTs on the account are the professional super league players and can take part in tenders with the prize of more than 5 VIRTs;
4. Thus tenders with the prize of 1 VIRT are for amateurs only, 3 VIRTs – amateurs and professionals, 5 VIRTs – professionals only, super tenders with the prize of more than 5 VIRTs are for super professionals;
5. The availability of a tender can be seen while registration, as well as when summarizing the results. If the professional level of a player does not correspond with the prize of the tender, the player is not allowed to take part in the drawing and cannot win the prize;
6. When a player is registering and checking if the tender is available, his/her current amount of unspent VIRTs is taken into account. When summarizing the results we take into account the amount of unspent VIRTs right before the calculation of tender rankings on a given realm, which means we do not consider the prize VIRTs of the current tenders of the realm. However, we do consider the prize VIRTs on other realms, where an upgrade ends earlier;
7. When determining the professional status of a player we only take into account the amount of unspent VIRTs on his/her account. Ways to earn VIRTs (tenders, 100 friends, daily drawing for payers, etc.) and the realm on which they’ve been earned do not matter.
P.S. The first generation of tenders with the leagues division starts functioning starting from the update from Jan. 25 to Jan. 26, the registration rules take effect on Jan. 27.
