Does anyone else have problems with brands? In offices I have brand 9.20 and in stores brand is 0. I saw that today when tender was ended and my results weren't there.

- No. -> It's a bug.
- Yes. -> Question 2.

2. Have you strated advertising campaign before you produced these delicacies?

- Yes. -> It's a bug.
- No. -> It's your fault. You should advertise new product at least once to assign brand to the output.

Sure. Let's consider a time line:

A (started production) ......................................... B (first ad. campaign) ............................................... C (today)

AB segment: you produce a noname product, it has no brand and it will never have it.

B point: you've made an ad. campaign somewhere and unique id has been assigned to your product.

BC segment: you produce a product with unique id and if you start a new ad. campaign somewhere, all the product with this id will get the same brand.

Actually, I find all of this branding functionality to be highly counter-intuitive

On the day that you order raw materials to your production line, you must also advertise that product from your office. For example: today you order diamond and gold to Lapidary factory, tomorrow these supplies will arrive the factory so you have only today and tomorrow to make brand from office for brilliants, before any brilliants is produced!

Once you get 2,000 of Brilliants from your factory but you have not make any brand ads in any offices for these briiliants, they will be considered Non-Brand. No matter how much you pay on ads after that, these 2,000 pieces will still get zero brand.

To avoid this, users should make small advertisement in ANY office, just one office is enough.
To play safe, I personally make small Internet ads in Lithuania office to ALL Production Lines. It costs only $18K per product.

yes, but how come that the products I ordered them yesterday also don't have brand? Because factory produced 4 days in a row and up to today brand is still 0. I really don't get that.

Because when I started to branding new product (decor) the first day the products were made it had brand.

So, if I got your explanations right:
- once I've spent a single penny on office advertisement of ice-cream anywhere in the realm, from that point onward I can only produce "My" ice-cream instead of "Virtonomics" ice-cream.
- and I can not revert to producing "Virtonomics" ice-cream even if I get rid of all of my produced ice-cream reserves and close or sell all of my dairy-farms, then build new ones and start production from scratch.
- and if I accumulate reserves of "My" ice-cream, then, a year from now, I can up the brand of all of this year old stuff in any office I need.

Is this how brand works here?
I can understand that such approach is probably the only manageable solution from the software developer's point of view, but from end user's perspective it's ... awful.

P.S.
some time ago I've noticed that I'm not allowed to start advertising of a product in an office because at the moment none of my factories were set on specialization which produces said product.
So I've changed specialization in one factory, started advertising, then changed specialization back.
After these manipulations I was able to start advertising this product in another office without problems even though none of the factories were set on producing it.

Have anyone noticed something similar, or am I imagining things ?

Because when I started to branding new product (decor) the first day the products were made it had brand.

Has your brand is still being launched continuously from day 1 that decor was produced until now?

Bostjan, personally I don't get your situation. Please make a screen shot of the goods you're checking (I suppose you're just checking an older "noname" output).
