Tomorrow my contest for managers comes to an end. I am leading by far, but today I received a message that my qualification in Management is to low to be awarded points. There is no way in the world I can increase my qualification during one update.
Now, I didn't know the rules, my bad. I won't complain about it, although I am quite pissed. However what's the point of this message being send during the last day of the contest when it is too late for a player to react? Such a message should be sent in the very beginning of the contest since building up your qualification to 10 points during the first month of playing requires quite a bit of planning. |

| I share your disappointment of not winning !
Now lets appreciate that you learned something really useful: its a good thing to read rules before participating in a contest ! |

This happens all the time. I also missed the level of management to get me a plantation as a reward. But it wouldn't have been an orange plantation, so it doesn't matter |

| The qualification is so annoying I might stop playing just for that. With the update tomorrow, I have 9 quaification plus a point I can spend on any qualification other than management |

| The contest for managers is quite pointless, imho. My management needs ~4 turns to improve by 1 point when everything is running at 100%. Thus in ideal scenario I would need 40 days to meet the reqs to be given the prize, so afaik it`s impossible to be given the prize without buying points and spending them in management. What I`m trying to say is that if this contest is meant to encourage newbies to try harder and better then it is a fail, on the contrary - it pisses me off, and seems that I`m not the only one. | |||||

| Good to hear I'm not the only one. Before making this new account I had the same problem when I was first starting, however, after about 6 months of playing I couldn't play and went inactive. So here I am again at the bottom of the pile and now I have a new problem with the contest for managers.
I haven't been put into the contest for managers at all. I don't know why, but every time I go to the contests page, I can only see the contest for presidents. Any ideas? |

I think they put the contest based on the date when you register the account, not the date when you make the company. I also miss the contest, since I retried many times in my first month. In the end, I didn't won anything from any contest |

| Where can you find the rules of the contest anyway? I tried looking anywhere, but I can't find them. Which probably means they are at a very obvious place, but...
never mind, found them |

| It seem accepted that same persons have more then one account. So follow rules like no VIRT transfer between it looks ok to have a company to learn and make another to use it | |||

| it is technically possible to achieve management 10 by day 30 - (I saw a note somewhere on the forum as to how to do it without spending points - it involves setting up 4 offices with 2 employees on the first turn or something - basically ensuring that you max out the total office workers for the whole 30 days) but it is so difficult without spoilers that new people may as well not be included.
I would suggest 1) that the 30 day contest be for game cash and remove the management 10 qualification, and then the second contest be for points (lots of people winning something would be more encouraging) 2) the maximum number of employees be shown in the user interface e.g. in an office - management skill 4 (57) - total employees for offices 34 - minimum safety factor or in the qualifications - managment 4 gain 27% +14% employees (34/57) |
