I was wondering what other players thought of merging the two realms Lien and Mary. I think this game seems to need some sort of injection of enthusiasm and by merging the two realms, combining two groups of players (although some play both) and creating more opportunities for the players to have more of a worldwide business, it might be an idea that would help. Hopefully, by merging the two you would create more interaction between players and some renewed excitement as well as giving new players a greater universe to build their empire. In the world today, trade is global and I think this would be a step in the right direction for Virtonomics to go worldwide and hopefully create a larger player base under one realm. Any feedback from other players, good or bad is welcome.

| I share your idea, however the possibility of so essential changes is quite low. | |||||

That would be nice to have access to asian countries without starting from scratch on the other realm
And why not add new countries, like USA or Brazil ? |

| For now, I quite like the fact that there are 2 separate servers as I'm playing on both. I do realise that I will not be able to keep this up though. But it does steepen the learning curve, I think.
As for expanding the world on both servers, that would be fun. Might make the choice for me harder though, when I need to drop one server...
When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was about a server reset where everybody started from scratch again. Will that ever happen? If so: when? |

I don't think so |

| I would like to see the Americas (North & South) included included in a worldwide Virtonomics economy as well. It would be another way for players to expand and create more opportunity to build bigger global business. I still believe the best way for Virtonomics to go forward would be to combine the two free realms and add some other parts of the world and have a truly global game. It is concerning that the admin. seem rather non active on any of the forum discussions.
I would like to see this game succeed at the highest level and once again any thoughts or ideas are welcome. Arrigus |

| I think that rather than merging the Lien and Mary realms, a new realm should be created where it is possible to play in much of the world, if not in every single country.
My reason: as a lot of people mention in their first posts, and as I found myself when starting the game only recently, Virtonomics is a rather complicated game. To have more than twice as many countries would increase the complexity, and perhaps turn away more potential players than are currently dissuaded by the steep learning curve. Some additional suggestions: those who are new to the game should not be allowed to play on the world realm until having completed the first month, i.e. the contest for managers, while remaining solvent, not bankrupt. This ensures that people don't sign up to a world realm without really knowing what they're doing. The new realm would obviously have to be tested with a few players at first so as check that nothing was squiffy. I'd love the possibility of having a world-spanning business! |

When you can deal with 15 countries, you can deal with 30. Nobody forces you open subdivisions in every country. It wouldn't be more complex than it is now. You can have the feeling that a lot of good opportunities pass you by when dealing with more countries, but you can't be everywhere, unless you don't have anything else to do |

As far as the missing US market is concerned, bear in mind this game is run by Russian people (Let's hope they prove me wrong ) |

| yes, please add more countries. It can be done on both servers, no? There is no need to merge them (seems kinda hard: what about players active on both?).
I like the idea of needing to qualify before getting access though. But rather than make me start over from scratch in the entire world, I would like to see the following: when you start off, you can only create offices in a limited number of countries (maybe the less developped countries?). Then after you've proven yourself during the first month, you can open an office in Germany, the US, ... As for the complexity: I find it a bit frustrating that countries are divided into regions. I really don't know which city is where in Kazakhstan (sorry). Why can't 1 office control all of Kazakhstan? Have 1 office for your Russian operations. Have 1 office for your US operations... |

| I can only talk for LIEN
But regarding opportunities on sale, there no problem finding a profitable able place to sell, and i think when the 3 baltic countries was implemented i thought it gave a good opportunity for new players to start there stores there because that only are small stores. Okay i agree that it's always nice with new countries but look the other way around, if there were more countries it will give less competition, which means a less fun in the game, or atleast that my opinion. |

I support adding more countries to the 2 realms, not a merger of the two,and No "newbie" barrier.A continuous flood of "newbies" keeps the game healthy and dribbles in the money, that I`m not willing to pay. |

| I second this. However, I would like tax reform. Tax for now is too simple. I haven't seen sales tax yet which comes before profit tax. Another idea about tax is that there should be more form of condition other than tax holiday, such as small and medium enterprise. It should be tailored to each country. Regional bloc free trade and certain random game changing event. |
