Success level = total growth rate of all skills (qualifications)

The current calculation of player's success level is bullshit!

I might be biased since my company do not have any science research facility or any farm. With that being said, the current calculation of player's "success" level punishes specialization, especially specialized companies. For example, a company can be an industry leader in retailing with the highest profit margin and/or highest turnover, but such achievements doesn't reflect in the company "success" level since it is being down played by the lack of growth in other areas.

Based on the current calculation, a real company like Airbus isn't that successful as people think, since it doesn't have a freaking farm.

Haha good one about Airbus.

Some mechanics of the game encourage you to be a jack of all trades, or at least do not punish you for being so. I hope there will be really effective incentives introduced to reward specialization.

I am agree with Khoi about this one. I will probably stay at 1st level in stock raising and agriculture forever.
How many oranges I've grown or how many eggs have I produced has nothing to do with my financial growth in general.
I'd say best 4 or 5 types of qualifications taken into account represent better the level of a player.

Success is something from the inside.

I took my company from nothing to the Number 5 Toy Producer in the world....and that's because I wanted it to be that way.

I used to laugh at those other players that would tell me that eventually "Lack of Money" will no longer be a problem but "Lack of Qualifications" I don't seem to have that problem yet, but I do have more money than I know what to do with.

Some weeks I was over $300m in the red, something that would freak me out before but now I just laugh it off. Pretty soon I'll be a Black Label ;)
