as everyone here knows there is a extreme shortage of raw materials on mary. however i thought of a industry that could help solve this as well as opening up a new industry to make profits. i want to make a new industry called recycling.

here's how it would work: 1) players can open up a collection store "where citizens of that part of the city hand in stuff to be recycled", where that store collects a raw material called "scrap materials". 2) those  raw materials are then sent to a "recycling factory" where the scrap materials are sorted into their components such as the raw materials such as glass, plastic, steel etc. where the amount and quality of the raw materials acquired though recycling is random and based on a formula to be determined by admin. 3) the raw materials are then sold off to other players to produce new goods again.

i think this will make a welcome addition to virto and i hope ppl will give there support by voting "HELL YEA! I WANT IT IN NOW!"

Great idea - lots of scope for development in the future as well. You could potentially introduce an idea of waste generally. Even recycling you cannot reclaim everything. If all factories produce waste it would mean finding a way to dispose of it. Landfill, Incineration, etc - or opt for recycling.

There is also a weath of associated technologies. Maybe some areas would have minimum tech levels of say incineration as a high level population refuses to have a poor solution as it produces too much air pollution. But then we are getting into carbon offsetting territory Well lol
