I have now a load of cotton fabric, and when I try to sell it on the wholesale market, it says I can't at the price that I want because For the goods of minimum quality the limit price cannot be higher than 30 IP, for the goods of the highest quality it cannot exceed 300 IP.
I'm familiar with this thing, I've seen it before, but what surprises me is that there are companies who can sell way beyond that limited prices.
I have 2.41 quality cotton fabric and can only sell it for 1268 $ per unit. In the meantime, there is a company who sells at 2100 $ some 1.00 quality cotton fabric. And some other company sells 3.50 quality cotton fabric at 4100 $ per unit. Why am I limited to 1268 $ ? I would consider normal to be able to sell at a price between those two.
On the other hand, the IP for cotton fabric is apparently 5.00 $, so, theoretically, it should sell on the wholesale market at maximum 150 $ for the 1.00 quality and maximum 1500 $ for the maximum quality, whatever that level of quality is. In that regard, the limit of 1268 that I have makes sense. But then what's up with those high prices on the wholesale market ? Some even sell cotton fabric at 8800 $ !
I don't understand what's going on here...
