Say your lab has invented a level 7 technology. Can you then sell the level 6 technology?

How do you actually go about selling and buying licenses? I've tried to do both, but nothing actually happened.

I may have overlooked it, but I don't recollect coming across the answers to my questions. I also did some searches on the forum, but I must admit that I'm probably not very apt at that. I can assure you that I always try to look for answers in existing posts first. The game is so elaborate and the forum so filled though that at times I find it hard to actually get what I'm looking for. Much like in rl, where I often don't find things that are right under my nose... Oops!

I did come across a post by Turkbostjan that I interpret as: you can sell any technology you've invented, no problem. But in that case: what's the use of license sales? As for the license sales/purchases: I've offered licenses before and I've tried to acquire them. But nothing happened. So was it just me being stingy, or is that market dead?

you use a license on a single factory/farm, but you can use technology on all of your factories.

so in essence license is buying tech for only one plant, and buying tech is buying tech you can introduce on all of your factories (of the same type)

You can only sell licenses or technology which you invented

Hy all!

I would like a litle help what to do whit my laboratory.
I got a 10 work places lab whit qualification 2. Have researced bakkery level 2 and i dont think i can sell it. But it would be nice selling this thing, because it would be worth. I cant use this level 2, because my bakery is at level 5.
I got not so many subdivisions but they are bringing me some profit. If I do research in my lab it thakes many money and many time, so i dont think i whant research anything, bacause i dont can sell my researched levels and it take only my money.
So what sould i do whit my lab. Sack the employes and wait until I have money and start again researching or sould i close the lab?
Plz give me some idea what to do.

my own opinion: keep studying! invent level 6 and higher and use it in your subdivisions instead of buying. Higher tech will be much costlier than inventing it yourself and it takes a long time to do so

I have been trying to license 2nd and 3rd level technologies for about 2-3 weeks (real time not game time). And it started with just cell phones, now it's cell phones, computers, and mining equipment. I have built two more labs because I can't figure this out. (and because it's a good thing to have). I have read the wiki-help about 10 times, gone to every page I can, increased the offer to the asking price (i'm trying to lease - originally I thought that if it was not competitive it would give me something between my price and the asking price because that was what the wiki-help said) but I am at a loss as to know why the bleeping thing won't let me least the tech!

On an unrelated note after 5 restarts I have given up on my Mary realm (but I closed everything rather than letting it go bankrupt so it shows a negative balance). I WANT TO KEEP PLAYING IN LIEN where I seem to be doing pretty good. I haven't found a way to quit the game in only one specific realm.
