| With all due respect: i do not understand this dumping strategy. You're taking away the chance from newer players who invented lower tech levels to make some $$ ? | |||||

| I'm tired of paying billion of dollars (so far about $300 bil) to purchase technologies and licenses just because few players hoard technologies from the rest of the realm. Besides, I think many players need access to higher technologies in order to compete with bigger corporations. | |||||

| I have no doubt about your honorable intentions but you're not offering top technologies, thats why it mostly hurts the newer players who just invented similar, lower levels and need to finance their labs with the sale of tech. they may have spend 100 Million to equip a single laboratory, invent tech 11 of something and can't even sell the tech because they're available for free anyway.
I actually think it discourages new players to invent on their own, which benefits big players over the long term. Not really belonging to this thread but since it causes the same effect e.g. hurting new players: IMHO the same applies to dumping of retail products to undermine sales of large companies because they do have plenty of qualification to make up the lower prices with more stores, workers and branding, whilst smaller players can't do that and suffer shrinking income and increasing cost base. Remember when we could sell quality 3 meat for 300 ? So at the end it helps newer players for short-term but gives advantage to "old" players for the long term since even if one day everything is sold for 1$, the winner will still be the one able to produce / sell the largest quantity, and that is determined by qualification, not pricing. |

| You have a point but I am not really convinced since newer players will always play a catch-up game in terms of technology inventions.
To me the key to success in this game is to profit from retail customers NOT other players. With technologies, one player's profit is another player's expense. To ensure the longevity of all companies in the realm, it would be best if each of us find a niche market and prosper at the expense of retail customers. |
