Ok, please bare with me.
Got my first day completed and I am looking for follow up to improve. For my 2 factories, production price was lower then sales price, I believe I corrected that pretty straight forward, also saw that my qualification was low, so I upped salaries a bit and started training, so I will watch how that progresses. My store made money in sales, yeah!! And I am slowly moving up in market share, hope to hit 1% next week, lol. I had to hire more sales people b/c they couldn't help everyone. Now my concern. Looking at my financial report on all the companies (by article) there is $0 in purchasing of raw material. So am I not getting supplies? I have the money. I found suppliers. Is there something the supply most do in order to ship it? My mill -> factor -> store is set up, but no one seems to be making purchases. I am afraid I will run out of what supplies I have on hand. i.e. On my "supply" tab for my clothing factory, required is 606, whcih I matched with order. Purchase says 0. On the far right, my mill has all 340 and available 340. The others are "pinked out", do I need to contact them? Thanks again. |

| Factories only sell what they already have in stock. So your mill's round one production will go into the mill's stock, and then next turn your clothing factory will be able to buy it. It is like a pipeline where every step takes one turn. In turn 2 your clothing factory will buy supply, but not produce anything. Then in turn 3 it will produce clothes from the supply it bought the round before. If the other supplier's you chose have a pink background on available, that means they have no units that are not already ordered. You may get some units from them, but it is unlikely. Better to choose different suppliers who actually have units available. |

| So my factories only produce everyother day, the ordering and production do not occur simutaniously?
If what I said above is correct wouldn't it be better to run all your supplies out and then order as much as I can to restock for a week or two? Should I ideally have 2 factories then to have a continous supply, each one working opposite the other? |

| Supply purchase and production both happen on the same day, but production happens before supply purchase. So the supply purchased the day before will be used for production, and then after that new supply is purchased. | |||||||

| Ok, as long as I keep a stock of goods in the factory I will produce everyday.
It says I have enough for about a week, so I can miss a few days of ordering if I needed to trim costs short term. Thanks, I wanted to make sure I didn't have any idle workers. |
