![]() *Gold rush in action...
**Barofgold, 220 kilos, locatedin the Museum of Gold, Taiwan On Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, we are planning to introduce a full-scale reform of the jewelry industry. The reform is aimed to make the industry more advantageous for players. 1. The cost of certain enterprises will change. These are going to be state owned enterprises (mines) of the industry: 1.1. the cost basis of one unit of the resource of a Gold mining enterprise is decreasedby 3 times;1.2. the resource of the already existent mines increases by 2 times, the basic quality risesby 0,5; 1.3. the cost basis of one unit of the resource of a Diamond quarry reducesby 4 times;1.4. the resource of the already existent mines increases by 3 times; 2. The use of Gold becomes more versatile 2.1. we introduce a new type of retail goods to the Jewelry sections of stores - Art deco, produced in Decor studio (new type of factories) from Gold, Wood, and Glass (minimum factory quality restriction for Gold: 4) 2.2. new specialization of the Microprocessors factory - "Electronic Components with gilded wires", 1/20 for one unit of chips, quality bonus for Electronic components: 25%
3. We cancel Independent suppliers of Gold and Diamonds: 3.1. Starting from today we are introducing the restriction for shipping: - 4000 units of Goldf or 1 contract; - 2000 units of Diamonds for 1 contract; 3.2. The shipments are to be completely cancelled in 2 weeks. It is forbidden to create new warehouses to generate the supplies of the independent resource! 4. The jewelry set will no longer be a part of the "uncle’s present" |

can we expect in the future that you'll also cancel Independent suppliers for other ores? |

| Maybe I'm missing something, but you are trying to make it "more advantageous for players" and one of the ways to get there is "cancel Independent suppliers". I might just be a bit too skeptical, but somehow I doubt this will improve anything. | |||||

| This is worrisome.this looks like the opposite of reform. | |||||||

| I agree, i dont see how the canceling of Independent suppliers will make it more advantageous to make jewelry. As a relative small company i'm already struggling to get my gold and diamonds as it is, how will i get any if i cant even fall back on the Independent suppliers? To be honest, if i read the changes correct, i dont even know how my company will survive (and i guess i'm not the only one), I will just hope i read the changes wrong or that i got enough money to start all over again in a different industry... |

So are there enough players with mines to keep the industry up? I wish I could buy some mines but that option is out. Plus you know there will be some people to buy it(gold/diamonds) all up and sell it higher which will only cripple everything on the way down. I'm a little sketched out about this |

| It seems to me that the administrators are doing everything they can to chase off the users who aren't willing, or in the position to pay for the services on this site, or are at least trying to force those of us with invested interest to start paying, or else you won't survive. Where are we supposed to get our gold and diamonds if the independent sellers are gone? There only a couple of other sellers and they are always out. It's hard enough trying to get wood, now we have to worry about diamonds and gold too?
I can't blame the administrators for trying to generate profit from this site, but forcing your users into a corner? That's low. Should have been tipped off from the "can be" in the paragraph on the main page, "Playing Virtonomics can be absolutely free." |

| I don't like this idea which makes me fear that other mining resources will share this fate sometime in future. I think this move will make many players rethink if they gonna buy any more points as it could turn quite expensive for players with many different branches relying on mined resources. | |||||

| When I started the game, I have choose the jewelry as my primary factory, all my money was directed to adverting, assets and other stuff into lapidary and jewelry factories, and I don't buy points for buy mines, so, I'll need to restart the game again, how many time I'll able to buy that gold and other stuff? That notice made me sad, trully. | |||||

Those, who play on Lien realm, could switch to another production. For example, I'm ready to cooperation, can buy out some your assests to make you have enough cash to new investments, can order high volume of your products. All depend on you. |

| Looks like Jewelry is out... There is NO GOLD in Lien, and I tried to make Art deco, but again there is no suppliers. I have tons of cash, but NO GOLD, so what is with that? I think one of the ways to go about this is to not only get people with points to buy resource but also get people with tons of cash to buy as well. I am for supporting the game and all, but killing an resource is not the way to go, there is simply no suppliers of gold anymore... At least let the people who are most successful in the game bring the market back (They put in a lot of hours into the game to make it successful).
good thing I only got started in this or else I lose big... |

| Art deco can only be made from gold Q higher than 4...and that kind of quality you won't get on market ;) | |||||||

| Basically what the developers want to do whit this reform is to make the players to buy point. Jewelry is very profitable business and relatively easy to manage, so now if you already have a big industry you have to make a painful decision of either closing everything and starting a company in new industry or a player has to buy points... I don't intend spending money on this game at this point of my life.
Game developers should attract more advertisement to the website in order to make money... |

| Before this reform investing points into gold or dimonds quarries was quite inefficient. The whole jewelry industry was the least profitable and I had factories just for handling research. Let's say the truth, now I'm thinking of buying some to produce art-deco and higher quality processors.
Jewelers of Lien, feel free to contact me, I'm looking for partner-producers for my retail section and ready to invest into your new business. |

| Well, thats my business ruined now. I can't be bothered starting again, whats the point when the game makers suddenly change the system and ruin your game? | |||||||

Let me buy out all your factories and stores at 3*assets cost, so you'll have enough cash to start another production. |
