 Next week is bringing some major novelties that you have never seen in the game! The most significant one is the launch of the Fishing industry and many additional features. There will be introduced a new type of unit:  Fishing factory ship. This is a new type of state enterprises with inexhaustible resource available throughout the year.
You've probably already guessed that these subdivisions are aimed for catching fish. There will be for times of fish:  Marketable fish Salmon Sturgeon Crabs.
Like in the case of agricultural farms, each type of resource will be attached to certain localities characteristic for the species. Different regions will also affect the quality of the resources. The efficiency of such units will depend on the top manager's qualification in the field of Local industries. The parameters of upgrading the new skill will be the same as in Production. The growth will also be evaluated by the quality of produced goods. We are also introducing a new type of equipment especially for fishing factory ships:  Fishing trawler.Production of trawlers is going to be based in a new type of factories -  Shipyard. Unlike Yatches, Trawlerswill be manufactured straight from the materials and semi-prepared products. However, the costs from buying raw materials will be rather significant: for now this is going to be the most resource-intensive product of the game. The service life of a Trawler is 5 years. At the same time due to the inevitable high costs for equipment Fishing factory ships will be allowed to have the equipment efficiency of 5%: if the technical wear is lower than this index, the general efficiency of the unit won't fall.
One of the components of Fishing trawlers is  Fishing nets produced on a Weaving mill from Cotton fibre.
In the future of types of fish may straightly go to the stores or be treated on a Fish processing factory, which will have the following specializations: Canned fish Fish delicacies Red caviar Black caviar Fish flour.
The first four types pf products will be sold in the following departments: Foodstuff and Grocery accordingly, as for Fish flour it will be used on the Mixed fodder production factory when producing Mixed fodder with the quality modifier of 15%. There will also appear a new warehouse specialization - Fish products.  The introduction of fishing industry will be accompanied by the appearance of  Norway - a country famous for its fishing industry. For now this is going to be the only country with the species of Salmon.
There are 5 cities: Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim, Bærum. This cities will have great timber resources, as well as oil and iron ore. Some specific features: - by the moment of the industry's launch Salmon will only be available for the enterprises with the basic quality of 3-5; - Sturgeon will be available for the enterprises with the basic quality of 4-5; - Fish flour and Mixed fodder with supplements are introduced Vera, olga and Anna (as there is no Mixed fodder on Mary and Lien); - by the moment of the industry's launch on Mary there are no regions which would make a natural habitat for Crabs and Sturgeons; - on the day of the launch there will be a number of Shipyards put up for sale on the market. |
